Do you ever find yourself wondering how many credit cards those with “excellent” credit have? While there’s no perfect number, perhaps there’s a goal to aim for.
Typically, those polled with excellent credit have three open credit cards on average and six total accounts on average when they include closed accounts.
However, it doesn’t really matter how many cards you have in your wallet because you’ll want to aim to pay off any balances on time and more than the minimum payment to ensure that your credit looks squeaky clean.
